1. General Information These Terms and Conditions govern the hire of flower backdrops and other props provided by Sumi’s Arts & Events (“we,” “us,” or “our”) to clients (“you,” “your”). By hiring our Products, you agree to comply with the below Terms and Conditions.

2. Booking and Payment

2.1 A non-refundable booking confirmation fee of $30 to $150 (depending on the item) is required to secure your booking. This fee will be deducted from the total hire cost.

2.2 The remaining balance must be paid in full upon collection or delivery time. Failure to make timely payments may result in the cancellation of your booking without a refund of the booking confirmation fee.

3. Delivery and Collection

3.1 We offer delivery and collection services at an additional fee. Fees vary based on location and will be communicated during the booking process.

3.2 Delivery and collection times will be arranged in advance. If you or your representative are unavailable during the agreed times, additional charges may apply for rescheduling.

3.3 You are responsible for ensuring clear and safe access to the delivery location. We reserve the right to refuse delivery if the location is deemed unsafe or inaccessible.

3.4 For clients opting to pick up the products themselves, a fully refundable security bond of $300 to $1000 (depending on the item) is required. This bond will be returned in full upon the safe and timely return of the Products, provided there is no damage, loss, or other issues.

4. Hire Period

4.1 The standard hire period is [24 hours]. Extensions must be arranged in advance and may incur additional fees.

4.2 Late returns will incur a fee of a minimum of 50% of per day hire cost unless otherwise agreed in writing.

5. Care and Responsibility

5.1 You are responsible for the care and safekeeping of all hired Products from the time of delivery/collection until they are returned to us.

5.2 Any damage, loss, or theft of the Products during the hire period will result in additional charges, including repair or replacement costs. Cost will be determined as per the market price of the items

5.3 Products must be returned in the same condition as they were delivered. Cleaning fees may apply if Products are returned in an unsatisfactory condition.

6. Cancellations and Refunds

6.1 The booking confirmation fee is non-refundable under all circumstances.

6.2 If we are unable to fulfill your booking due to unforeseen circumstances, we will provide a full refund of all amounts paid, including the booking confirmation fee.

7. Liability

7.1 We are not liable for any injury, damage, or loss caused by the use of our Products during the hire period.

7.2 It is your responsibility to ensure that the hired Products are used in a safe and appropriate manner.

8. Force Majeure

8.1 We are not responsible for any delays or inability to fulfill our obligations due to events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, accidents, or government restrictions.

9. Disputes

Any disputes arising under these Terms and Conditions will be resolved in the courts of New South Wales.

10. Amendments

We reserve the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. The latest version will be made available on our website or provided upon request.
